Frequently Asked Questions
Leftover steak will typically last in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. To make sure you get the longest shelf life, store your leftover steak in an airtight glass container.
When it comes to reheating your leftover steak, I find that the best way to do it is in the oven or in a pan on the stovetop. For the oven method, place the steak on a wire rack on a sheet pan and reheat in the oven for about 30 minutes at 250° Fahrenheit. If you’re reheating it on the stovetop, sear it over medium-high heat for about one minute per side.
The oven method is the best way to make your leftover steak super tender. I also recommend storing your leftover steak in any juices or sauce so that the meat stays nice and moist.
