Frequently asked questions
How do I keep the wraps from getting soggy?
Let the cooked ingredients cool slightly before assembling, and avoid overloading with sauce. Toasting the wraps also helps seal in moisture but I don’t recommend making these in advance if you’re sensitive to sogginess. You’re better off prepping the components then assembling fresh the day of.
Can I use taco seasoning instead of southwest seasoning?
Yes, taco seasoning is a great substitute and offers a similar flavor profile.
Can I make these wraps dairy-free?
Yes! Use dairy-free cheese and swap the sour cream and mayo in the sauce for plant-based alternatives like vegan yogurt or avocado.

What to serve with these wraps
These wraps are hearty on their own, but pairing them with the right sides can turn them into a complete and satisfying meal. Here are some tasty ideas:
How to store and reheat
Store: Keep assembled wraps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Alternatively, you can prep all components and make and toast your wraps fresh each day for up to 5 days. This will ensure they don’t get soggy.
Reheat: Reheat in a skillet over medium heat for 2โ3 minutes per side until warmed through and crispy. You can also microwave for 1โ2 minutes, but the tortilla may soften.
Freeze and reheat from frozen: Wrap ungrilled wraps tightly in foil or plastic wrap and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge, then toast in a skillet until heated through.
