Tofu recipe tips
Here are some of my top tips on how to make tofu for beginners:
- Squeeze out as much moisture as possible for the crispiest texture. Use a towel and place a heavy object over top to press out the liquid.
- Marinate the tofu (15 minutes to 12 hours) if you want lots of flavour!
- Make sure you're using the right kind of tofu – I find that extra-firm tofu is best as it has the least liquid.
- Coat your tofu in cornstarch so it's even crispier on the outside.
