- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can chickpeas rinsed, drained and dried
- 1 tbsp spice blend of choice I typically use a combination of chili powder, cumin, paprika and garlic powder; see notes below for spice blend recipes
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat air fryer to 400 F for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, rinse and drain your can of chickpeas. Add to a large bowl, then toss with olive oil, spice blend and season with a bit of salt and pepper.
Add to air fryer basket, then air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Serve immediately or store up to 7 days in a resealable bag or airtight container.
SPICE BLENDS: See all of my spice blends for options on what to add as seasoning.
TO SERVE: I recommend serving with salads, in buddha bowls or in wraps (they would be great as a sub for the chicken in these shawarma wraps)
You could also try using this recipe to make crispy lentils.
Store any leftovers in a Ziploc bag or airtight container for up to 7 days.
