Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp caramel syrup homemade or store bought
  • 1 handful ice
  • 2 espresso shots
  • 3/4 cup milk I prefer 2% but you can use any type, dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream optional

Instructions

  • Brew espresso shots using an espresso maker. Add ice to a large glass, then add in 1 tbsp of caramel syrup (see link in ingredient list for homemade simple syrup, or use store bought).
  • Pour espresso shots and milk over top, topping with whipped cream if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

See my recipe for homemade caramel simple syrup. It does take 30 minutes to make and 30 minutes to cool, so I recommend making it a day in advance.
Nutritional info includes whipped cream and is calculated using 2% milk - you can shave 23 calories off your latte if you don't add whipped cream.
