Ingredients

  • 3 large-sized sweet potatoes or 4 medium-sized
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Chipotle dipping sauce

  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp minced chipotle in adobo sauce
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 F for 10 min. Meanwhile, peel skin off sweet potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch fries. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add sweet potato fries to air fryer and cook for 12 minutes. You may need to do this in 2 batches if you have a smaller air fryer (mine all fit in the family sized one).
  • Gently flip and toss fries then cook another 10-12 minutes (check after 10 minutes then add 2 more min if you like them crispier). Meanwhile, mix ingredients for chipotle dipping sauce together.
  • Remove fries from air fryer and serve with chipotle dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

Don't overcrowd the basket - if needed, cook in batches.
Preheat the air fryer so the fries get as crispy as possible.
Store leftovers in the fridge for 4 days, then reheat in the air fryer for 4-6 mins, flipping halfway through.
Freeze the fries for 3 months, then reheat in the air fryer.
