Cuisine: Spanish
Servings: 6 -8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2/3 cup fresh blackberries
  • juice from half lime
  • 2 small sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 tsp simple syrup
  • 2-3 cups distilled/purified water

Instructions

  • Puree all ingredients in a blender.
  • Pour into a fine mesh strainer to get rid of pulp, working in batches if necessary and using a large bowl or pitcher to catch the juices. Work through with water as pulp becomes too thick and is resistant to straining.
  • Add up to 3 cups of water to the juice mixture, depending on how strong you would like the flavours to be. Keep in mind this drink is supposed to be refreshing with a subtle flavour.
  • Enjoy as is or add 1 oz of your favourite liquor to a tall glass of Aguas Frescas (we prefer vodka for a more subtle flavour).
