- Half orange sliced
- 1/2 lemon sliced
- 1/2 apple sliced
Apple cider
- 2 apples cored and sliced
- 1/2 orange sliced

Before cutting fruit, wash each carefully with soap and water.
Heat 3 cups of water in a large saucepan until just boiling and add apples, orange, lemon, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.
Cook covered for 20 min on med-high heat. Let cool a bit and then drain through a strainer.
Meanwhile, add fruit to red wine and let soak for 20 min and up to 24 hours.
When ready to serve, mix 1 cup of the apple cider (or more depending on your tastebuds!) with the red wine sangria mixture and enjoy with ice, or warmed up on the stovetop!
