Healthy Quinoa Recipes

Quinoa! It's one of those ingredients that is billed as a trendy superfood, but I feel like I struggle to find healthy quinoa recipes that really appeal to my tastebuds. I mean, sure it's a healthy food but finding delicious quinoa recipes can be hard. Well, I'm here to show you that healthy and tasty can go hand in hand in today's round up of quinoa recipes!

These healthy quinoa recipes have been organized into breakfast, lunch and dinner options so however you're meal prepping for the work week, at least one of these delicious dishes are sure to pique your interest. Quinoa is such a versatile food because it can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes, as you'll see particularly in the breakfast options. You can sub it in for oatmeal (I'm DYING to try the cinnamon apple quinoa below) and it's gluten-free and high in protein so you can fit it in your diet regardless of your lifestyle and dietary restrictions.

Besides sweet and savoury breakfast bowls, you can add quinoa to many different dishes such as fruit salads, grain bowls, casseroles, stews, curries, stuffed peppers and you can even use quinoa in little mini loaves – I love using pizza and enchilada flavours as a base to spice up your quinoa.
