This post is sponsored by Greenfield Natural Meat Co. Thanks for supporting the brands I use and love!

Let me tell you a story. Now that you’re hopefully getting to know me a little bit better on this blog, you’ll know that I have had like sixty billion different jobs over the course of my university years. I’ve been a lifeguard at a waterpark, shelf stocker at a grocery store, a swim instructor, a social media specialist, a teaching assistant, construction worker, cashier, coffee shop employee, and NOW blogger/photographer/freelance writer. I’m also hoping to add videographer to that list very soon.

Out of all the jobs I’ve had over the years, packing a wholesome, hearty lunch has always been an absolute must. I’ve been making a living working from home for the past eight months, so while I am happy to not have to pack lunches ahead of time and worry about transporting them, I’m finding myself missing some of my old recipes. Let me tell you – I have never been one to pack a boring sandwich, even when I was working on the road doing construction and living out of dingy motels. This girl over here eats like a queeeeeen.

So while I know that this is just another sandwich recipe – it’s very near and dear to my heart. In fact, it was a regular in my lunch rotation until I started working from home. So for a little bit of nostalgia, I’ve decided to share my Top-Secret Ultimate Ham & Turkey Sandwich. Ready to hear what my secret ingredient is? GUACAMOLE. And of course, meat that has no antibiotics, hormones or added preservatives! Say hello to the most delicious lunch meat for your next sandwich: Greenfield Natural Meat Co.‘s Oven Roasted Turkey Breast and Baked Honey Ham!

The Ultimate Ham & Turkey Sandwich-2

Okay, now back to this glorious sandwich. In the spirit of keeping this sandwich all-natural, I ditched the mayos and ketchups for a delicious guacamole made with fresh avocados. It pairs amazingly with just the turkey on its own if you’re looking to just use one meat, but you know me – I love variety! This sandwich will have you looking forward to your lunch break, trust me!

Oh man, I think I am the complete opposite of you. I am always packing some very boring lunches… so boring in fact that some of my students have made me lunch some days to help me escape my tedium.
This sandwich looks delicious! I have yet to add avocado to my sandwiches, but I will definitely try it out!

Hahaha oh no!! I find thinking up a variety of ideas is the hardest part, really for anything. Even going to the gym I have to research new exercises online or I get in the same rut. I think us humans just like predictability and sometimes rely on it too much LOL. Thanks so much for your kind words Cathleen 🙂
