Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Valdez
This is a sponsored post. Thanks for supporting the brands that keep The Girl on Bloor up and running!
Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with Mexican food and pitchers of margaritas. Sit me down with both and you’ve got my heart forever. So, it’s no secret that Cinco de Mayo is by far one of my favourite yearly celebrations!
This year, Sauza and Hornitos are sponsoring an LCBO Cinco de Mayo event like no other at Valdez, one of my favourite restaurants along Toronto’s entertainment central, King Street West. Kickstart the return of the summer season and endless patios with Mexican tapas, delicious tequila cocktails, a mariachi band, dancing and more! Who doesn’t like a good party to sweep in the warm season?
Valdez is known for delicious Latino street food and a beautiful, colourful space tucked away along Toronto’s top restaurant row. I’ve been a few times before and really have to attest to the authenticity of the food and the fun, upbeat atmosphere. It is certainly the perfect place to kick back with a few margaritas and celebrate the end of the work week. With Cinco de Mayo on a Thursday this year, you know this spot will be the place to be.
Tickets for this rockin’ Cinco de Mayo celebration are $20, and you get 5 tequila cocktails and as many Mexican-style appetizers as you can eat! Join the party – this’ll be one you won’t want to miss!
