17 Fun Green Recipes for St. Patrick’s Day!

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I’m bringing you 17 fun, green treats and delicious dinners to celebrate everyone’s favourite Irish holiday!

One of the best excuses to drink green beer in the middle of the day is quickly approaching and I’ve got 17 Fun Green Recipes to help you celebrate! St. Patrick’s Day is basically the first big holiday before all the beautiful spring weather comes, and I love that it’s an excuse to eat a whole bunch of finger food and pig out on pub grub.

There’s a giant parade in downtown Toronto every year, and even though I have lived in and around various sections of one of the biggest roads in the city, Bloor Street (yes, that’s why I’m called The Girl on Bloor 😉 ), I have somehow always managed to live right outside the parade route.

Not that I’m complaining. Since the weather is so hit and miss in March, it’s been nice to be able to watch the parade from whichever little cozy apartment I have lived in over the years, but I wasn’t always a big fan of being woken up by bagpipes at 9am on a Sunday either…

Regardless of my love-hate relationship with St. Patrick’s Day, it’s still fun to whip up some green recipes and enjoy the festivities with friends and family. This collection of green dinners, desserts, drinks and snacks are perfect for the occasion – let me know what you’re going to make!!!

Thanks so much for including me! I must be in a savory type of mood because the avocado pesto, Thai Green Curry Vermicelli, and Green Bloody Marys are seriously making me drool right now. And it’s a whole meal too! Also, potato nachos TOTALLY belong on this list (any list really).
