I promise, mason jars aren’t just used for fancy ideas to put on Pinterest!
One of the first recipes I made in a mason jar was this quick instant noodle soup with vermicelli noodles, leftover chicken, a bouillion cube and a mix of veggies. I had seen the idea on Pinterest (of course) but decided to make my own version and it has since become one of my go-to lunch recipes when I’m in a pinch. Hearty and filling, it’s basically a one-jar meal that saves you time and money when prepped ahead of time.
Since then I’ve made a ton of other mason jar recipes, from my fave new chickpea salad to my delicious buffalo chicken salsa, and let’s just say I can’t get enough. Think beyond your basic salad here: there are so many winning combinations and ways you can get creative with your lunch prep.
So, today I’ve brought you some delicious recipes from myself and some of my other fave food bloggers that can be made in a mason jar – which ones will you be trying first?!
